Lagaw Ta! (Let's Travel) to Sandbar Island Beach Resort | Concepcion, Iloilo, Philippines

Northern Iloilo never fails to amaze me with its tourist destinations.  Let's start the summer right!  Concepcion, Iloilo is one of the municipalities in the northern part of Iloilo Province which as approximately 3 hrs from Iloilo City.  Say hi to one of its many islands turned tourist destination, SANDBAR ISLAND BEACH RESORT, Bulobadiangan, Concepcion, Iloilo. 

Here are the few guiding tips for this trip:

• From Iloilo City Tagbak Terminal take a bus going to Concepcion town proper for P125.00 (regular, non-aircon)
• From Concepcion Terminal, you can rent a pedicab going to the port for P10-15.00
• From Concepcion Port, you can take a boat for P1,500 - 2,500 back and forth depending on the number of passengers.  I suggest you contact the resort beforehand so that they can arrange your transportation.  The resort has its own boat for its guests and its so hassle free if you already had reservations.
• The resort has sari-sari store but just to be sure, bring your own necessities and food.  If you wish to bring fresh fish or raw meat you could request the resort's cook to take care of that for  a fee depending on your requested dishes.  

Cottage for P 400.00

Yes!  They are open for an overnight stay.  They have this mini guest house for only P 1,500.00.  This is good for two persons but still can be arranged.  It already has its own cr.  We're talking about comfort here  :* 

 If you're with your barkada, you could also try this tent for less than P 1,000 good for 10 pax and more.  

Common CR

The best thing about this, is the long stretch of white sand beach, the serenity of the place, truly relaxing.  Such a sweet escape.  This is like a summer kick-off for me and enjoying the place while it's still not that crowded.  We'll never know if can still enjoy this crystal clear water few years from now, right?

So pack all your swimwear and flaunt that body, whether summer-ready or not, nobody cares!  As long as you got all those stress released and that whole body tan achieved.

So aside from enjoying the view and the fresh air as well as the crystal clear water, the resort has also other activities for you.

• If you're staying overnight, bonfire is a must, just request the staffs for assistance.
• SNORKELING for P 50.00/each.  The resort has its own sea garden intended for snorkeling.
• ISLAND HOPING for P 1,500 depending on the number of pax.  You can visit Pan de Azucar during this tour.

Viewing Deck

 The resort also has hammocks you can use for free. 

We were also able to visit the neighboring island barangay of Mangalabang. 

Since we're only taking a day tour, we opted to travel back by 2:00 pm.  And with all the sight seeing, gotta feed our hungry stomachs.
